Too many competing priorities
The urgent keeps displacing the important, while the strategic choices cannot wait.

PDG, founded by Jayanth Bhuvaraghan, brings perspective, candour and operating experience to the decisions that shape what happens next.

Operating experience, an independent perspective and the candour to ask difficult questions.
I’m Jayanth Bhuvaraghan, founder of PDG and former Chief Mission Officer of Essilor International, where I served on the Executive Committee. I bring around four decades of corporate experience, including 11 years as Chief Mission Officer.
I have built and led businesses across India, South Asia, ASEAN, the Middle East and Africa, with experience spanning acquisitions, joint ventures, organisation transformation, leadership alignment, corporate purpose, governance and implementation.
Through PDG, I work personally with CEOs and leadership teams from strategic choices through to practical action—helping align leaders, reshape organisations and make change reach the front line.
The most consequential choices rarely arrive one at a time. Priorities compete, the organisation looks to you for certainty, and even capable leadership teams can become an echo chamber.
The urgent keeps displacing the important, while the strategic choices cannot wait.
Progress depends on candid discussion and shared ownership across capable leaders.
The organisation, governance, talent and execution must catch up with the direction.
Engagements begin with the CEO’s real agenda, not a predetermined methodology.
Clarify priorities, test assumptions and evaluate routes to growth.
Help the CEO and C-suite make difficult choices and build shared ownership.
Align structures, roles, talent and capabilities with strategy.
Strengthen board effectiveness, composition and consequential conversations.
Stay close enough to help decisions become practical action.
PDG works with a small number of organisations at any one time, through a close relationship with the CEO and the C-suite.
Acquisitions, family-owned businesses, partnerships and joint ventures—aligning commercial objectives, governance and relationships.
Connecting purpose with strategy, culture, leadership choices and long-term value creation.
Clarifying an authentic narrative for boards, employees, investors and external stakeholders—and translating it into action.
Board effectiveness, governance structures, composition, director recruitment and differing stakeholder interests.
Balancing global ambition with local realities, relationships and routes to growth.
Embedding innovation and impact into business strategy and new models of value creation.
Begin with a meaningful business problem, demonstrate value responsibly and build the organisation’s ability to move forward.
PDG remains deliberately lean, with my personal involvement at the centre. When a challenge requires additional capabilities, I draw on a trusted international network of former CEOs, senior leaders and specialist practitioners across AI and enterprise technology, financial services, fintech and consumer businesses.
